It's crow time today

This morning,
why just an hour ago,
I got a little lucky.
Yesterday,
I wondered how beautifully
had pictured all the birds.
And today, I get to picture
some crows
myself.

I managed to get two decent shots,
with a crow each
waiting with watchful eyes
for some safe place to feed.

It really posed well,
what do you think?

P.S. I am glad to have my Canon back in shape again.
It definitely works better than my mobile and Sony cyber shot.

  1. We have a beautiful osprey that lives in the neighborhood and every once in a while he'll hang out in the yard but the second I take out a camera he's gone! Nice shots! Sometimes I think that crows must be vain - they always look like they are posing waiting for their close-ups!

    1. This has happened with me too often. But today, I think I really got lucky or may be you are right. The crows knew I would be back with camera, so they waited and they posed while I clicked their pictures. :)
      Good to hear from you.

  3. Yes, I know what you mean about a good camera! I bought myself a DSLR this past winter, after 4 years with a point and shoot, and I am still thanking heaven for the change!!
    I love the crows!
