Parting thoughts

With this I turn the last page of Divergent series/collection.
I have loved this series. Through and through. And I part with the book with a sad heart. I am soon going to get myself the entire box collection for this series. Until then I will rewind my posts and refresh my memories.
On my reading shelf now sits Game Of Thrones.
I wanted Maze Runner but office library has not got that one yet. So, till the time I wait for Maze, I shall read this greatly admired fantasy epic.
780 pages. Font size perhaps 10. I have until 5th of October, 2015.
Let's get started.

Beautiful things sometimes do.

I have already shared this quote in an earlier post: Beautiful things.

Same words, same characters. Different narratives.

Beautiful words sometimes stay. Even after the story is over.

Lessons from Allegiant

This is one lesson that Divergent series teaches.
One practical lesson.

Let's accept the learning with all our heart.

Filling up emptiness

I like the prospects of filling up the empty spaces with presence.

Just a whisper

I loved the way the words have been woven in this sentence. Its flowing poetry.
I am almost nearing the end of this book.
A few more pages and then I will move on to a new one.
"Four" by Veronic Roth.
But I will have to wait.
Since the library loans it to me this coming Monday.
And before I sign off this post, I share another quote that I liked.
There's one more that I wanted to share but that was not a hero-solo share.
So I am saving it for tomorrow.

You're stronger than you think...

You'd be surprised what you have the stomach for when you have to.

Couldn't agree more.

Like the handprints ...

One of the greatest blessing of God is to have parents who set good examples. Parents whose expectations are worth living up to. Parents you call mom and dad.
They teach you young, early on and put you on right path.

For such loving parents:

It would be honor for any child to hear such words.

Wise wants

"I think I'd like to find a middle ground for myself," he says.

Ah! the balance. Like the edge of sword.
A tight rope to walk.
Difficult but daring all the same.
Wisdom is the reward allowed to those who can walk this thin cutting side.
Knowing your limits, challenging them but never crossing.

Stay blessed.

We are ...

Another precious line that struck a chord with my heart.

"We" are all we have.

Or

We are "all we have".

I would prefer the former though the latter is equally true.

A wild world

A wild world.
The phrase so open-ended, you could actually let your imagination run free and be surprised by what all things you can visualize.
Five words.
But they cover so much.
To me, however, they sound like a call.
To face and fight my fears.
Yes, it is a wild world out here and only the fittest survive.
May the odds be ever in our favour.

Stay blessed.
