Like the handprints ...

One of the greatest blessing of God is to have parents who set good examples. Parents whose expectations are worth living up to. Parents you call mom and dad.
They teach you young, early on and put you on right path.

For such loving parents:

It would be honor for any child to hear such words.

Stay blessed.

Father's Day ... Parent's Day

Today happens to be third Sunday of June.
Celebrated world over as Father's Day.

I believe that one of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents to call mom and dad. One is the soul of the family and the other heart. Together, they make home a heaven.

So, today I chose to deviate from my currently reading shelf to share this nugget from the partial draft of Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer (which happens to be my favorite part in Twilight series, disappointed that she didn't finish it though):

Yeah I know I made it sound like Parent's Day rather than just father's. Well important thing is family and love.

Stay blessed.

Keeping promises

God Almighty, they say, works in mysterious ways. Giving us somethings straightaway and keeping somethings from us forever and occasionally giving us surprises. To this they add, this another pearl. If it is what you had wished for, it is good. But if it is not what you had desired, it is best. For it then is of the Good Lord's will and he keeps whole of the world in the palm of his hand. Showering TLC in his mysterious ways. Just like He had promised.

So as I begin this new week, let there be this prayer on my lips and in my heart:

Stay blessed.
