Even in the eventide

In my school days,

I came across

a line

that has stayed with me.

It was something like

" if you look at the sun,

you will go blind,

if you look at the moon,

you will become a poet".

And

Ever since then,

I have imagined it to be true,

more like a fact.

Ever since then,

The evanescence of night

has held its charm.
